  • History of traditional climbing and it’s evolution.
  • Knowledge of the natural environment.

  • Basic progression techniques.
  • Progression techniques and specific maneuvers.
  • Downclimbing techniques.
  • Improvisation and self-rescue techniques.
  • Sketch and review interpretation.

 

  • Ratio: 1 teacher, 4 students.
  • Duration: 2 days.
  • Requirements: You mustn’t have any kind of medical condition that could hinder your progress during the activity. You must posses the necessary sport climbing knowledge according to the content of the level II course (assessment of sports curriculum). Know the basic safety maneuvers in sport climbing: assurance and drop-offs. Regularly climb 5a/HVS (VIª) sports climbing routes as lead climber. Previous experience in climbing routes that must be done in several phases.
